Build Paperless becomes the first Australian job management software in Anthropic's Claude directory

Sydney, Australia, 25 September 2026: Build Paperless, the Sydney-built job management platform for builders and trades, is now listed in Anthropic's Claude Connectors Directory. It is the first Australian job management software in the directory, which lists the apps that Anthropic's AI assistant Claude can securely connect to, alongside names such as Atlassian, Canva, Notion, Stripe and Xero.

Once a builder connects their Build Paperless account to Claude, they can ask it in plain English to summarise a site diary, list open defects, check the schedule or draft a variation. Claude cannot change the contract on its own: a variation it drafts stays a proposal until the builder approves it in Build Paperless, and job financials are only shared if the builder explicitly grants access.

The listing comes as the building industry faces a hard run. Construction was the largest single industry in ASIC insolvency data for 2023-24, accounting for 27 per cent of companies entering external administration for the first time, and the national total rose a further 33.2 per cent to 14,722 in 2024-25. Many of those builders were busy right up to the end. Margins eroded quietly across fixed-price jobs through unpriced variations, overruns spotted too late and claims raised late, until they were carrying more debt than their work could service when the market turned.

Build Paperless is designed to catch that early. Every job carries a budget and a target margin. Supplier bills, purchase orders and receipts post against the job as they happen, variations and progress claims are raised from the same record, and the books stay in step through two-way sync with Xero and QuickBooks. An AI budget health check forecasts each job's final cost and margin, so a builder can see a job sliding below target while there is still time to fix it.
